Nighttime horse racing extended through October
'Scorching heat discourages spectators’

As temperatures continue to soar, the Jeju racecourse, called Let’s Run Park, has announced it will extend its schedule of nighttime races through the end of October.

The racecourse was initially set to be open at night for just two months - July and August - but officials decided to prolong them because of the continuing heatwave. Therefore, organizers have decided to extend the nighttime races on Friday through October.

The first race every Friday begins at 3:45 in the afternoon, and the last one starts at nine.

무더위가 계속되면서 당초 이달까지 운영할 예정이던 야간경마가 10월까지 연장됩니다.

렛츠런파크제주는 당초 7월과 8월 두달 동안
야간경마를 시행할 예정이었지만 계속되는 폭염 등으로 낮 시간대 경마 관람이 어려운 점을 감안해 오는 10월까지 연장한다고 밝혔습니다.

야간경마는 금요일에만 시행되며 토요일은 평소처럼 정상 운영됩니다.
금요일 첫 경주 출발시각은 오후 3시 45분, 마지막 경주는 오후 9시입니다.
