Govt. to ease regulations on land development fees
More projects will be exempt

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport has given advance notice of legislation that eases land development fee regulations for smaller projects.

The minimum size for which the fees will be charged will move up from the current 990 square meters to fifteen hundred square meters, meaning developers of land under 1,500 square meters will no longer have to pay.

Developers of housing projects related to reviving industrial complexes and preparing land for city development will also be exempt from the fees.

Here in Jeju, the revision is expected to cut by 30 percent the number of projects for which the fees must be paid.

소규모 개발사업에 대한 개발부담금이 완화될 전망입니다.

국토교통부는 최근각종 개발사업에 따른 부담금을 완화하는 내용의 '개발이익 환수에 관한 법률' 개정안을 마련해 입법예고회 했습니다.

주요내용을 보면 개발부담금 부과대상 기준 면적을 도시지역의 경우 기존 990제곱미터에서 1천 500제곱미터로 상향 조정하게 됩니다.

또 산업단지 재생사업과 환지방식 도시개발사업에 따른 주택건설사업의 경우 개발부담금 부과대상에서 제외됩니다.

제주에서 이번 제도개선으로 개발부담금 부과대상이 30% 정도 줄어들 것으로 예상되고 있습니다.
