Rental car companies banned from using airport parking lot
New rule goes into effect September 1

In related news, car rental companies will be barred from using the airport parking lot beginning September 1st.

The building at the airport the firms have been using will permanently close August 31st, after which all rental companies will be required to operate shuttle buses between the airport and their respective rental points.

Most companies are located close to the airport but for the 20 or so that are much further away, a temporary drop off area will be put in place for one year.

다음달 1일부터 제주국제공항내에서 렌터카를 배차하거나 반납하는 행위가 전면 금지됩니다.

제주특별자치도는 오는 31일부터 제주국제공항의 렌터카하우스가 폐쇄됨에 따라

공항내 렌터카 배·반차를 전면 금지하고 다음달부터 제주국제공항과 각 렌터카 차고지를 연결하는
셔틀버스를 운영합니다.

다만, 차고지가 멀리있는 소규모업체 20곳에 대해서는 공항 서측 상주직원 주차장을 1년간 임시 공동 배.반차지로 운영할 계획입니다.
