Jeju had world’s 2nd busiest one-runway airport in 2015
Only Turkey’s Sabiha Gokcen Intl. Airport handled more passengers

According to the Airports Council International, Jeju International Airport is the world’s second busiest one-runway airport.

Passenger traffic at Jeju International in 2015 stood at over 26 million, putting it behind only Turkey’s Sabiha Gokcen (곡센) International Airport, which had about 2 million more passengers. Third on the list was London’s Stansted Airport.

But when calculating the number of passengers per hour of operations, Jeju topped the list with nearly 4,200, compared to the 3,200 at Sabiha Gokcen (곡센), which, unlike Jeju, is open around the clock.

하지만 시간당 수송실적으로는
제주공항이 24시간 운항하는 터키 사비하곡센 공항보다 30% 더 많은 것으로 집계됐습니다.
