Chuja Yellow Corvina Festival this weekend
Assorted activities from Friday to Sunday

The 9th Chuja Yellow Corvina Festival will be this Friday to Sunday on the small island between here and the mainland.

Visitors will be able to try traditional food and experience traditional culture. The main attractions include sampling of yellow corvina, the fish that symbolizes Chuja Island, as well as catching and bundling the fish and hiking the Chuja Olle trail.

In order to make traveling easy for festival-goers, the event’s organizing committee is increasing the number of sailings between Jeju and Chuja by the Queen Star 2 ferry for all three days of the event.

추자도 참굴비 대축제 30일 개막…여객선 증편

제9회 추자도 참굴비 대축제가 오는 30일부터 사흘동안 추자면 일원에서 열립니다.

이번 축제는 '2016년 추자도를 들썩이게 하다'를 주제로 전통음식과 전통문화 체험 등 다양한 프로그램으로 진행됩니다.

주요 프로그램으로는 참굴비 시식회와 후릿그물 체험, 조기따기, 갯바당 바릇잡이와 가족낚시, 추자 올레길 탐방 등 입니다.

축제기간에 제주와 추자도를 오가는 정기 여객선 퀸스타2호는 하루 2차례 증편 운항합니다.
