Revised supplementary budgets for province, education office
Council passes spending plans Friday


The provincial government and the provincial office of education now have their revised supplementary budgets.

At a Friday afternoon session, provincial council members passed the proposals for new spending, after they shaved 1.86 billion won off the 4.6 trillion won proposal submitted by the provincial government.

Governor Won Heeryong thanked the council for passing the budget and promised that the local government would do its best to successfully conclude all projects planned for 2016.

Meanwhile, the council passed the education office’s supplementary budget proposal as is.

제주도 추경 소폭 조정...교육청 원안 통과

제주특별자치도와 도교육청의 제2회 추가경정예산이 확정됐습니다.

제주도의회는 오늘 (21일) 오후 임시회 2차 본회의를 열고, 제주도가 제출한 4조6천억원의 추경 예산안 가운데 18억 6천만 원을 조정하는 것으로 의결했습니다.

원희룡 지사는 인사말을 통해 추경예산안을 원만하게 심의한 도의회에 감사드린다며 올해 계획한 사업 마무리에 최선을 다하겠다고 말했습니다.
한편 도의회는 도교육청이 제출한 추경예산안에 대해서는
원안 그대로 가결했습니다.
