Jeju City takes out bicycle insurance policy
All area residents covered through April 13, 2017


Jeju City has taken out a bicycle insurance policy on behalf of all residents.

Anyone registered at a Jeju City address can now reap the benefits of the insurance through April 13th, 2017.

Residents can claim 10 million won for death or disabilities caused by bicycle accidents, and up to 600,000 won for hospitalization that lasts for more than 4 weeks.

Cyclists who are found at fault for accidents are covered for fines, legal fees, and other accident-related costs.

제주시민 전체 자전거보험 혜택

제주시가 시민 전체를 대상으로 자전거 보험에 가입했습니다.

이에따라 제주시에 주소를 둔 시민은 누구나 별도의 가입절차 없이
내년 4월 13일까지 사고발생 시 보험혜택을 받게 됩니다.

이 기간 자전거 사고로 숨지거나 후유장애를 입을 경우 최고 1천만원,
4주 이상의 병원치료 진단에는 최대 60만원까지 위로금이 지급됩니다.

또 다른 사람을 다치게 한 경우 벌금과 변호사 선임비, 교통사고처리 지원금을 지원받을 수 있습니다.
