Groundwater tests safe for drinking
Samples from 9 purification plants examined


Jeju groundwater sources have again tested suitable for drinking.

The Jeju Water Resources Office examined samples from nine purification plants for the content of 47 harmful substances, including heavy metals. All samples tested within the safe range.

In order to maintain a safe and steady supply of drinking water, the Jeju Water Resources Management Office performs these tests on a monthly basis.


지하수 상수원 수질검사 '안전'


제주도내 지하수 상수원 수질이 먹는 물 기준에 적합한 것으로 나타났습니다.


제주특별자치도 수자원본부가 지난달 지하수를 상수원으로 사용하는 9개 정수장을 대상으로 중금속과 유해물질 등 47개 분야의 수질검사를 실시한 결과 정수장 모두 기준치 이하로 안전하다고 밝혔습니다.


수자원본부는 지하수 관리와 안전한 상수도 공급을 위해 매달 지하수 상수원에 대한 수질검사를 실시하고 있습니다.
