JNU Law School students call for probe
Influence-peddling scandal involves President Park Geun-hye


Local law school students have added their voices to the public outcry across the nation about alleged influence peddling involving President Park Geun-hye and her confidante, Choi Soon-sil.


On Wednesday, Jeju National University Law School students released a statement claiming that President Park no longer deserves the presidency and questioning for whom she has exerted her sovereign authority since her inauguration four years ago.


The students called on her to take full responsibility for the situation and resign. They also said the prosecution should uphold the rule of law by conducting a thorough investigation.

국정농단 최순실 게이트가 전국적으로 확산되는 가운데 제주대학교 법학전문대학원 학생들이 시국선언에 동참했습니다.


이들은 오늘 시국선언문을 통해 박근혜 대통령이 취임이후 누구를 위해 대통령의 주권을 행사했는지 의심스럽다며 박 대통령은 국가원수의 자격이 없다고 비판했습니다.


그러면서 모든 책임을 진 박 대통령은 퇴진하고 검찰은 성역없는 수사로 법과 정의를 바로 세워야 한다고 강조했습니다.
