Jeju United has made it into the AFC Champions League for the first time in six years.


The local squad played to a 0-0 draw with Ulsan Hyundai Wednesday.


Of course, a win would have been better in the 37th round of the K-League, but the draw means that, even if it loses its remaining game to Ulsan, it has enough points to snag third place in the league.


That is good enough to put Jeju United in next year’s AFC Champions League, for the first time since 2011.

제주유나이티드는 어제(2일) 저녁 울산 문수축구경기장에서 열린 울산 현대와의
K리그 37라운드 경기에서 0대 0 무승부를 거뒀습니다.


특히 제주는 남은 한 경기에서 울산에 지더라도 다득점에서 앞서면서 리그 3위가 유력해 내년 시즌 아시아챔피언스리그 행을 사실상 확정했습니다.


제주가 아시아챔피언스리그에 진출하기는 지난 2011년 이후 6년만입니다.
