Local professors are calling on President Park Geun-hye to take full responsibility for the influence-peddling scandal engulfing her administration.


115 professors from Jeju National University, Halla University, and Jeju International University released a statement Thursday. They said the president should transfer her full authority to the prime minister in order to form a national unity government.


They also argued that officials involved in the scandal be criminally punished according to their violations.

제주지역 대학교 교수들이 박근혜 대통령에게 국정농단 사태에 책임을 지고 하야하라고 촉구했습니다.


제주대학교와 제주한라대, 제주국제대 등 도내 3개 대학 소속 교수 115명은 오늘(3일) 시국선언문을 통해 국정이 더 이상 표류하지 않도록 박근혜 대통령은
책임 총리에게 전권을 맡겨 거국 중립내각을 구성할 수 있도록 해야 한다고 주장했습니다.


그러면서 대통령은 국정에서 완전히 손을 떼 하야하고 이번 최순실의 국정 농단에 협력하거나 방관한 공직자들은 모두 형사 처벌해야 한다고 강조했습니다.
