Nearly 13.7m tourist arrivals and counting
Tally already surpasses total for all of 2015


Nearly 13.7 million people have visited the island so far this year, a new record.


The Jeju Provincial Tourism Association puts the tally as of October 5th at 13.67 million.


That’s 18 percent more than at the same point last year, and the total already surpasses the 13.66 million visitors who came in all of 2015.


International arrivals are up 40.5 percent and domestic, 12 percent.

올들어 제주를 찾은 관광객이 1천367만 명을 넘어서 역대 최고를 경신했습니다.


제주특별자치도관광협회에 따르면 올들어 지난 5일까지 제주를 찾은 관광객은 1천367만여 명으로
지난해 같은 기간보다 18% 증가했습니다.


지난해 제주를 방문객수인 1천366만 명을 넘어선 것으로 역대 최고를 기록했습니다.


외국인 관광객이 지난해보다 40.5% 늘었고, 내국인 관광객도 12% 증가했습니다.
