2m visitors to Udo Islet so far this year
9.3% more than corresponding period in 2015


Over two million tourists have visited Udo Islet so far this year.


According to the province, 2-million-5-thousand had visited Udo Maritime Park through November 4th. That’s 9.3 percent more than during the corresponding figure of 2015.


Officials say an average 6,000 people have been taking the short trip to the islet daily as of late. They project the 2016 tally will hit 2.2 million.


우도 탐방객 200만 명 돌파…9.3% 증가


섬속의 섬 우도를 찾은 탐방객이 200만명을 돌파했습니다.


제주시에 따르면 올들어 지난 4일까지 우도해양도립공원 탐방객은 200만 5천여 명으로 집계됐습니다.


이같은 탐방객은 지난해 같은 기간보다 17만명, 9.3% 증가한 규모입니다.


최근 우도에는 하루평균 6천명이 방문하고 있어 연말에는 220만명을 넘어설 것으로 예상됩니다.
