New parking lot at Saryeoni Forest
Big enough for 168 vehicles, opens November 14


A new parking lot will open at Saryeoni Forest on the 14th in an attempt to deal with the heavy traffic and parking problems that plague the area.


The new lot is located approximately two kilometers away from the entrance to the forest. It has an area of 7,000 square meters and can accommodate 168 vehicles.


The opening of the parking lot will affect the shuttle bus route that currently stops at the April 3rd Peace Park before arriving at Saryeoni Forest. Beginning November 14th, shuttle buses will stop at the new parking lot instead of the peace park, and run every 30 minutes.


Currently about 1,400 people visit the forest daily.


사려니숲 대체 주차장 조성…14일부터 개장


사려니숲길 교통 혼잡과 주차난 해소를 위한 대체 주차장 조성이 마무리돼 오는 14일부터 개장합니다.


이번에 개장되는 주차장은 7천여㎡ 면적에 차량 168대를 주차할 수 있는 규모입니다.


이에따라 기존 4.3평화공원을 경유하던 임시 셔틀버스는 오는 14일부터 대체주차장으로 변경해 30분 간격으로 운영됩니다.


현재 사려니숲길 방문객은 하루 평균 1천400명에 달하고 있습니다.
