Jeju Vet Service Lab to halt sales of rescue animals Nov. 15-19

The Jeju Veterinary Service Laboratory will temporarily halt sales of rescued animals for five days beginning November 15th.


The move comes as the Lab plans to install heating and refurbish facilities to better accommodate the animals in cold weather. The area will also be fumigated.


The lab will, however, continue to accept new and returned rescue animals, and all volunteer work at the center will continue as usual.


道 동물위생시험소, 유기동물 분양 임시중단


제주특별자치도 동물위생시험소가 오는 15일부터 닷새동안 보호중인 유기동물 분양을 임시 중단합니다.


대신 이 기간에 보호시설에 대한 보온과 방풍작업을 실시하고 추위에 약한 동물을 위해 별도의 견사를 마련합니다.


또 고양이동에 대해서도 내부 리모델링 등을 통해 전반적인 시설물을 보완합니다.


다만, 유기동물 입소와 반환 신청, 보호센터 자원봉사활동 참여 등은 정상적으로 운영됩니다.
