Disposable lunchboxes banned on Hallasan
New rule goes into effect next month


From next month, visitors to Hallasan will be banned from taking disposable lunchboxes up the mountain.


The Hallasan National Park Management Office says the move is in response to an increasing number of hikers who are disposing of their leftover food from the lunchboxes along trails or in the trees next to them.


Visitors will still be allowed to bring in gimbab, burgers, and similar food.


Most students on school trips bring the disposable packed lunches to the mountain.

다음달부터 한라산에
1회용 도시락을 가지고 등반할 수 없습니다.


한라산국립공원관리사무소는
일부 탐방객들이 도시락 잔반을 탐방로 주변이나 숲 속에 버려
생태계 파괴의 원인이 되고 있다며
1회용 도시락 반입을 금지한다고 밝혔습니다.


다만 김밥과 햄버거 등은 반입이 허용됩니다.


한라산 탐방객 가운데
학생 수학여행단 대부분이
1회용 도시락을 이용해 왔습니다.
