Water supply, public museum fees to rise
Water rates going up 4.3%, sewage fees jumping 27%


Your water and sewer bills will likely soon be going up, as will entrance fees at public museums.


The provincial government’s pricing committee recently met and decided to raise water rates by 4.3 percent and sewage fees by 27 percent.


Meanwhile, entrance fees at the Jeju Museum of Art and the Jeju Museum of Contemporary Art have gone from 1,000 won to 2,000 won. Visitors to the Lee Joong Seop Art Museum now must pay 1,500 instead of 1,000 won. Gidang Art Museum has raised admission from 400 won to 1,000 won… and the (김창열) Kim Tschang-yeul Art Museum is no longer free - it costs 2,000 won to enter.


Provincial officials are now getting ready to amend the related ordinances to put the changes in effect.


상하수도·공공미술관 요금 큰 폭 인상


상하수도는 물론 공공 미술관의 입장 요금이 크게 오를 전망입니다.


제주특별자치도는 최근 물가대책위원회를 열고 상하수도 요금 조정안과 미술관 관람료 인상안을 심의 의결했습니다.


주요내용을 보면 상수도 요금은 평균 4.3%, 하수도 요금은 평균 27% 인상됩니다. 또 제주도립미술관과 제주현대미술관은 어른을 기준으로 현행 관람료 1천원에서 2천원으로,
이중섭미술관은 1천원에서 1천 500원, 기당미술관은 400원에서 1천원, 김창열도립미술관은 무료에서 2천원으로 인상됐습니다.


제주도는 이같은 내용을 바탕으로 조례 개정작업에 착수할 예정입니다.
