Red Cross begins membership drive
Aims to collect \1.1b in membership fees by January 31


The Jeju branch of the Korean Red Cross has launched a membership drive that will run through January 31st.


Around 150 sponsors and volunteers gathered at a Red Cross meeting room Thursday for a proclamation ceremony to launch the effort.


Organizers aim to collect 1.1 billion won in membership fees over the next two months. Membership is open to heads of household, business owners, corporate bodies, and other groups, but it is limited to people between the ages of 25 and 75.


적십자 회비 모금 시작…11억 원 목표


대한적십자사 제주지사가 오늘부터 내년 1월 31일까지 62일간 적십자 회비 모금에 나섭니다.


모금 첫날인 오늘은 적십자사 회의실에 후원자와 봉사원 150여명이 모인 가운데 적십자회비 모금 선포식을 개최하기도 했습니다.


올해 제주적십자사의 목표 모금액은 11억원이며 모금 대상은 25살 이상의 75살 미만 세대주와 개인사업자, 법인, 단체 등입니다.
