Four investment hotels ordered to correct false ads
Violations found online and in newspapers September 2014-June 2015


The Fair Trade Commission has determined that four investment hotels in Jeju used exaggerated or false advertisements.


They reportedly pumped up earnings rates or falsely said that high profits were guaranteed to investors who purchased rooms. The commission ordered the hotels to correct their ads.


The hotels were also found to have withheld important information, such as the period for which revenue was guaranteed or made false claims about their locations in internet and newspaper advertisements between September 2014 and June 2015.

공정거래위원회는 분양형호텔을 분양하면서 수익률을 부풀리거나 안정적인 수익을 보장하는 것처럼 거짓, 과장광고를 한 분양형호텔 4곳을 적발하고 시정명령을 내렸습니다.


이들 호텔은 2014년 9월부터 지난해 6월까지 인터넷과 신문 광고 등에 수익 보장기간을 밝히지 않거 입지조건 등 사실과 다른 분양광고를 낸 것으로 드러났습니다.
