Probe into possible illegal real estate transactions
Seogwipo officials to investigate 28 sales

Seogwipo officials have announced an investigation into dozens of alleged illegal real estate transactions.


The probe will focus on violations including whether the sales price was reported accurately, whether the deal was disguised as a gift, and whether double contracts were created as part of the transaction.


The National Tax Service and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport handed over to Seogwipo a list of 23 people and 28 sales which are suspected of violations regarding title registration.


The city has uncovered 402 such infractions so far this year and it has fined the violators a total of 250 million won.


'부적절 거래' 의심 부동산 정밀조사


서귀포시가 부적절한 거래로 의심되는 부동산을 정밀 조사합니다.


이달 말까지 진행되는 조사에서는 실거래가 허위신고 여부, 거래를 가장한 증여 여부, 이중계약서 작성 여부 등을 중점적으로 살필 계획입니다.


조사 대상은 부동산 취득에 따른 명의신탁과 관련해 국세청이나 국토부 등으로부터 통보받은 28건, 23명입니다.


서귀포시는 올 들어 지금까지 부동산 거래신고 위반으로 402건을 적발해 2억 5천여 만원을 과태료로 부과했습니다.
