60+ firms have made the move to Jeju

More than 60 companies have now relocated to the island.

The provincial government puts the tally as of September at 61. Forty-eight of them were from the Seoul area, six of them were call centers, and seven were training institutes.

This year two companies even moved their head offices here, and another two boosted their local investments.

Provincial officials say all of the moves have created jobs for 3,100 people on the island.

제주 이전 기업 60군데 넘어

제주로 이전한 기업이 60군데를 넘고 있습니다.

제주특별자치도에 따르면 올해 9월까지 제주로 이전한 기업은 모두 61곳으로,
수도권기업 48곳, 콜센터 6곳, 연수원 7곳이었습니다.

올들어서도 본사를 이전한 기업이 두군데이며,2곳은 증설투자를 추진하기도 했습니다.

제주도는 기업이전으로 인한 고용인원이 3천 100여 명에 이르는 것으로 분석하고 있습니다.
