Korean Air pilots strike, disrupting domestic flights
5 Gimpo-Jeju flights canceled Thursday

Unionized pilots at Korean Air went on strike Thursday, disrupting flight service between Gimpo and Jeju.

According to the nation’s flagship air carrier, five out of 44 flights on the route were canceled on the first day of the strike.

Union representatives say the strike will continue unless the company agrees to its demands. Analysts say that means passengers should expect further disruptions.
