Chairman says ‘crises are opportunities’

KCTV Jeju kicked off the new year with a special meeting Monday in the KCTV Hall.

Chairman Gong Seong-yong encouraged all employees to view potential crises as opportunities, and to work hard to make the most of them.

He emphasized the need to develop UHD broadcasting technology and produce UHD programs, as well as identify innovative ways to satisfy customers. Gong also urged everyone to work together to usher in the “total digital era.”

KCTV is concentrating on seven projects this year, one of which is leading the push to develop Jeju into a “high-tech smart island.”

KCTV 제주방송이 오늘 오전 KCTV 공개홀에서 시무식을 갖고 새해 업무를 시작했습니다.

이 자리에서 공성용 회장은 신년사를 통해 위기는 기회라며 올 한해를 소중하고 가치있게 활용하고 특히 UHD를 시청할 수 있는 기술개발과 프로그램 제작에 만전을 기해줄 것을 당부했습니다.

또 변화에 따른 획기적인 상품 개발과 100% 디지털 시대를 여는데 직원 모두의 힘을 모아줄 것을 강조했습니다.

KCTV 제주방송은 올해, 최첨단 스마트 아일랜드 제주 선도 등 7가지의 핵심사업을 정해 추진할 계획입니다.
