Jeju Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosts New Year’s gathering
Local leaders gather Monday at Maison Glad Hotel

Leaders of local society gathered Monday morning at the Maison Glad Jeju Hotel to hope for the best in the new year.

The event was hosted by the Jeju Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Many executives and staff members from area companies joined the directors of various organizations to exchange greetings and wish for prosperity in the new year.

In his speech, Jeju CCI Chair (김대형) Kim Dae-hyung stressed the need to thoroughly manage domestic and international risks in order to keep the local economy on track. Among those risks, he cited slowdowns in economic growth and rising interest rates.

제주도민 신년인사회가 오늘(2일) 오전 제주시 메종글래드 제주에서 열렸습니다.

제주상공회의소가 마련한 이번 신년 인사회에는 원희룡 제주도지사를 비롯해 각급 기관단체장과 기업체 임직원 등이 참석한 가운데 새해 인사를 나누며 올 한해 번영을 기원했습니다.

이 자리에서 제주상의 김대형 회장은 올해는 경제성장률 둔화와 금리 인상 등 대·내외 경제사항이 불안한 만큼 위기기관리 철저히 해 지속적인 경제 성장을 위해 노력하자고 강조했습니다.
