Rate cut for electric car quick chargers
Slashed 44% to \173.8/kwh

Electric vehicle drivers now are paying less to quick charge their cars.

The Ministry of Environment on Thursday cut the rate for them from 313.1 won per kilowatt hour to 173.8.

Using a quick charger, it will now cost EV drivers 2,759 won to drive 100 kilometers. That’s 24 percent of what it cost drivers of gas-powered cars.

Motorists who use their Green Card to pay for charging qualify for an additional 50 percent discount of up to 50,000 won per month.

전기차 급속충전요금이 인하됐습니다.

환경부는 오늘(12일)부터 전기차 급속충전기 사용요금을 1kwh에 종전 313.1원에서 173.8원으로 내린다고 밝혔습니다.

이에따라 급속충전기를 이용한 전기차의 100km당 연료비는 2천 759원으로
휘발유차의 24% 수준으로 낮아지게 됩니다.

또 그린카드로 전기차를 충전할 경우 월 5만원 한도에서 50%를 추가로 할인받을 수 있습니다.
