Images of major news stories from 2016

The Jeju Camera Journalists’ Association is exhibiting photos and videos shot by local members last year.

The exhibition is running through Monday at the Jeju Culture and Arts Center.

The 15th edition of this event includes about 100 photos of the April 13th elections, Typhoon Chaba, and candlelit protests, as well as ten videos of subjects including the island’s unique stone walls and caves.

All the latest in broadcasting equipment is also on display, and there’s a booth where visitors can try some of it out.

The association comprises photojournalists and cameramen from seven broadcasters, newspapers, and communication companies, including KCTV.

제주카메라기자회의 2016 보도사진.영상전이 오늘(12일)부터 닷새간 제주도문예회관 제1전시실에서 열리고 있습니다.

올해로 열다섯번째를 맞는 이번 전시회에는 4.13 총선과 태풍 차바, 촛불집회 등
사진기자들이 순간을 기록한 사진 100 여점과 제주의 돌담과 동굴의 신비 등
방송카메라기자들의 영상 10 여점이 주제별로 선보이고 있습니다.

또 다양한 최신 방송장비들을 전시하고 체험할 수 있는 부스도 마련돼 운영되고 있습니다.

제주카메라기자회는 KCTV 제주방송을 비롯한 도내 7군데의 방송사와 신문사,
통신사의 사진기자와 카메라기자로 구성돼 있습니다.
