Open forum Friday on Ora Tourism Complex
Panel members to discuss 6 contentious facets of project

The Social Contract Committee is hosting an open forum Friday at the Jeju Farmers’ and Fishermen’s Hall on the Ora Tourism Complex.

The director of the provincial tourism department, (이승찬) Lee Seung-chan, will give a presentation on the issue, as will (문상빈) Moon Sang-bin, representing the committee. Those talks will be followed by discussions, which include three additional panel members who were selected by the provincial government and the Social Contract Committee. Committee chair (고유봉) Go Yu-bong will chair the forum.

The participants will discuss six facets of the project, including its groundwater and environmental impact assessment as well as its projected impact on transportation, energy, and the commercial sector.

고유봉 사회협약위원장의 진행으로 제주도와 시민사회단체에서 추천한 3명의 토론으로 진행됩니다.

토론은 지하수와 환경영향평가, 교통, 에너지, 상권영향 등 6가지 주제를 놓고 이뤄집니다.
