246,000 arrivals expected over holidays
0.6% fewer than last year

Jeju is gearing up to welcome hundreds of thousands of visitors over the Lunar New Year holidays.

The Jeju Tourism Association projects 246,000 will come between January 25th and 30th. The total includes tourists and people coming home for the holidays. Overall, that’s 0.6 percent fewer people than who made the trip last year.

The busiest day for arrivals will be January 27th - 49,000 people are expected to arrive Lunar New Year’s Eve.

Flights are currently 80 percent booked, while about 60 percent of rental cars and rooms at tourist hotels have already been reserved.

제주도관광협회는 설 연휴가 시작되는 오는 25일부터 30일까지 6일 동안
귀성객과 관광객 등 24만 6천 명이 제주를 찾을 것으로 예상했습니다.

지난해보다 0.6% 감소한 규모입니다.

특히 설 하루전인 오는 27일 하루만 4만 9천여명이 제주를 찾으며 귀성행렬이 절정에 이를 전망입니다.

현재 항공편은 80%, 관광호텔과 렌터카는 60%의 예약률을 보이고 있습니다.
