2018: 70th anniversary of April Third Incident
Public contest on how to mark occasion

Next year is the 70th anniversary of the beginning of events collectively known as the April Third Incident, and local officials are running a contest to ask the public how best to mark the occasion.

In addition to memorializing the incident, proposals should also contribute to national harmony. Officials are looking for anything from commemorations and welfare projects to scholarships and educational programs.

The provincial division on April Third Incident support is accepting submissions through March. Interested individuals may download submission forms from the provincial website.

내년 제주 4·3 70주년을 앞두고 기념사업에 대한 정책 공모가 이뤄집니다.

공모 내용은 제주 4·3을 알리고 국민화합에 기여할 수 있는 것으로 추모와 복지, 학술, 교육 등 분야에 대한 제한은 없습니다.

공모기간은 오는 3월까지이며 제주도청 홈페이지에서 서류를 다운받아 제주도 4·3 지원과로 접수하며 됩니다.
