Community Chest hits goal in charity drive
Record \4b in donations as of Wednesday

The Jeju office of the Community Chest of Korea has surpassed its target in its annual fundraising drive.

Office representatives say that, as of January 25th, donations had topped four billion won.

In addition to it now being the most the Community Chest has ever collected, it hit its goal three days earlier than last year.

The campaign will run through the end of the month.

사랑의 온도탑 100도 돌파…목표액 초과

희망 2017나눔캠페인 사랑의 온도탑이 100도를 넘어섰습니다.

제주사회복지공동모금회는 오늘(25일) 오전까지 모인 성금은 40억 220여만 원으로 목표금액인 40억 원을 초과 달성하며 사랑의 온도탑이 100.1도를 기록했다고 밝혔습니다.

지난해보다 사흘 앞당겨진 것으로 희망나눔캠페인이 시작된 후 역대 최고 금액입니다.

어려운 이웃을 위한 희망나눔캠페인은 오는 31일까지 진행됩니다.
