Foreign tourists spend twice as much as locals
Domestic tourists average \460,000 per visit

Foreign tourists spend more than twice as much as domestic visitors while here.
According to a study conducted last year by the Jeju Tourism Organization, a foreign tourist spends an average of 820 dollars on the island. This is more than double the 460,000 won spent by domestic visitors.
Moreover, Koreans and non-Koreans differed in their modes of travel. While 93% of domestic tourists visited individually, only 47.8% of foreign tourists did so. Just over half travelled in group tours.
The Jeju Tourism Organization said that it would take these factors into consideration when developing and promoting tourism on the island.

여행 패턴에서도
내국인 관광객의 93%는 개별여행인 반면
외국인 관광객은
개별여행 47.8% 단체여행 50.2%로 차이를 보였습니다.

관광공사는 앞으로
목적형 개별관광 상품 개발과 유치에 행정력을 모으기로 했습니다.
