Multicultural families invited to celebrate holiday
Traditional Korean culture event set for Sunday

In celebration of the Lunar New Year’s holiday, an event for multicultural families will be held at (남광)Namgwang Elementary School this Sunday in Jeju City.
Hosted by the Jeju Multicultural Family Association, this special event will bring together multicultural families, foreign workers, foreign students and many others.
Visitors can experience various traditional games such as Tuho arrow throwing, bamboo dancing from the Philippines, and a Vietnamese shuttlecock kicking game.
Participants will also have the chance to try (떡국)Tteokguk, a ricecake soup which Koreans traditionally eat on Lunar New Year’s Day.

설맞이 다문화가족 전통문화체험행사가
오는 29일 오후 1시부터
제주 남광초등학교 체육관에서 열립니다.

다문화가정제주특별자치도협회에서 마련한 이번행사에는
다문화가족과
외국인 근로자, 유학생 등이 참석한 가운데
투호놀이와 윷놀이,
필리핀의 대나무 춤놀이,
베트남의 제기차기 놀이 등 다양한 프로그램으로 진행됩니다.

특히 한국의 전통 명절 설을 맞이해 참여자 모두에게 떡국이 제공됩니다.
