The island’s relatively warm weather and sports facilities attract many athletes for winter training. And as increasing number of sports teams gather here, teams have matches against others to check their performance.

High school and college teams are coming to Jeju this winter, which means we can set up matches with them to check our performance. The warmer weather here is good for winter training, too.

Even though the weather may be unfavourable, players are out practicing, keeping the ball, and themselves, moving. ??
This is a friendly game between a college team and a high school team.
Players can get a much more realistic practice game in than just playing amongst themselves, and their coaches can better monitor their improvement. ?

Jeju has become a popular winter training destination for a number of reasons.
Not only is the island’s warmer weather more conducive to outdoor training, but its sports facilities and popularity mean more chances for practice games with others. ?
The administrative offices coordinate a practice game schedule to help teams improve their performance.

Soccer teams here in Jeju for winter training started to have games with other teams. And beginning this year, baseball and basketball teams also started to participate in the practice matches organized by Seogwipo City.
