Governor rules out presidential bid
Won Heeryong makes announcement during meeting of new Bareun Party

Governor Won Heeryong is not going to run for president.

He made the announcement during a meeting in Yeouido of top representatives for the newly formed Bareun Party.

Won said he will focus on his duty as the governor of Jeju because dealing with island issues is his top priority.

He added that he will also work toward establishing a healthy conservatism in Korea and creating a sense of unity among its citizens.

대통령선거에 출마하지 않겠다고 밝혔습니다.

이 자리에서 원 지사는
초임 도지사로서 제주도정에 1차적 책임이 있다며
도정 현안 업무에 집중하겠다고 말했습니다.

이와함께
대한민국에 건강한 보수를 바로 세우는데 힘을 보태겠다며
국민통합을 위한 나름의 역할을 다하겠다고 덧붙혔습니다.
