Official house values in Jeju are up 18% - the most in the nation.

According to the land ministry, the average growth in value for single-family detached houses across the country last year was 4.75 percent, up 0.6 percentage points over the year before.

Jeju houses grew in value by a whopping 18.03 percent over the same period - nearly four times the national average.

The highest appraised value for a detached house in Jeju was nearly 1.6 billion won. At the other end of the spectrum was a home valued at only 4.7 million. The average was about 110 million won.

제주지역 단독주택 공시가격 상승률이 18%로 전국 최고를 기록했습니다.

국토교통부에 따르면 전국 표준단독주택 공시가격 변동률은 4.75%로 전년보다 0.6% 포인트 상승했습니다.

특히 제주지역 단독주택 공시가격 상승률은 18.03%로 전국 평균보다 4배 가까이 높아 전국 최고를 기록했습니다.

제주에서 표준 공시가격이 가장 높은 단독주택은 15억7천만원, 가장 낮은 주택은 473만원으로 평균 가격은 1억 979만원으로 조사됐습니다.
