2,588 competitors in Jeju Peace Taekwondo Championship
February 14-20 in Jeju City and Hallim

Nearly twenty-six-hundred athletes will be competing in the 12th Jeju Peace Taekwondo Championship, which begins next Tuesday.

The Korea Taekwondo Association received over 2,000 applications in the sparring portion of the tournament from middle and high school students from across the nation. Another 540 will compete in the “poomsae,” or forms, event.

The Korea Taekwondo Association and KCTV Jeju are hosting the competition from February 14th to the 20th. Events will be at Halla Gymnasium and the Hallim Gymnasium.

대한태권도협회가 최근 제12회 제주평화기전국태권도대회 참가 신청을 받은 결과
전국 중고등학교에서 이같이 접수했다고 밝혔습니다.

이 가운데 겨루기 선수가 2천여명, 품새 540여명 입니다.

대한태권도협회와 KCTV 제주방송이 공동 주최하는 제12회 제주평화기 전국태권도대회는 오는 14일부터 20일까지 제주시 한라체육관과 한림체육관에서 열립니다.
