Changes at Jeju District Prosecutors’ Office
New criminal affairs department, staff boosted to 28

Among the personnel changes at the senior prosecutor level and below, the Ministry of Justice will create a third criminal affairs department at the Jeju District Prosecutors’ Office.

The changes go into effect February 20th.

Seoul Northern District Prosecutor 최성국 Choi Seong-guk was appointed to lead the new department. He and Seoul Central Deputy Senior Prosecutor 서정식 Seo Jeong-sik are among the eight people who will be making the move to Jeju.

Four prosecutors from Jeju were dispatched elsewhere, including 박명희 Park Myeong-hee, who was assigned to the Seoul eastern district office. Overall, that means the number of staff at the Jeju District Prosecutors’ Office will rise to 28.

제주지검 형사 3부 신설 확정…정원 28명

법무부가 오는 20일자로 부장 이하 검사에 대한 인사를 단행한 가운데 제주지검에 형사 3부 신설이 확정됐습니다.

이번 인사로 서울북부지검 최성국 검사가 제주지검 형사3부장에 승진 임용됐고 서울중앙지검 서정식 부부장 검사 등 8명이 제주로 전입되거나 신규 임용됐습니다.

이와함께 제주지검 박명희 검사가 서울동부지검으로 자리를 옮기는 등 4명의 검사가 전출돼 제주지검 정원은 28명으로 확대됐습니다.
