Easing the way for Tourism Promotion Fund loans
Repayment period extended

The provincial government is making loans from its Tourism Promotion Fund easier for borrowers to get and repay.

Local officials say the changes were made after a review of the current situation in the tourism industry. They have extended the period of funding from one to two years and extended the repayment period for the loans from two to three years.

In addition, officials are doubling the number of application periods for stabilization fund loans of up to 30 million won. There were two, but now there are four.

The government has made 80 billion won available through the Tourism Promotion Fund in the first half of this year. Applications are being accepted through February 28th.

관광사업체 등에 지원되는 관광진흥기금 융자제도가 개선됩니다.

제주도는 도내 관광산업 여건을 감안해 관광진흥기금 개보수 자금 거치기간을 현행 1년에서 2년으로 늘리고 경영안정자금은 상환기간을 현행 2년에서 3년까지
연장합니다.

또 3천만 원 이하의 소액 경영안정자금 신청 횟수를 기존 연 2회에서 4회로 늘립니다.

올해 상반기 관광진흥기금 지원 규모는 8백억 원으로 융자 지원 신청은 오늘(13일)부터 28일까지 진행됩니다.
