1,100 apartment units to become available March-May
Includes 500 in Gangjeong, Seogwipo

In our last story today from the real estate market, over one thousand apartment units will begin coming on the market next month.

Land ministry representatives say 11-hundred units will become available between March and May. That includes 500 in Gangjeong, Seogwipo.

That’s three times as many as last year, when 370 units hit the market during the same period.

Provincial officials say the supply surge is the result of the completion at the beginning of this year of apartments that received construction permits last year.

3월부터 석달간 공동주택 1천100세대 공급

다음달부터 공동주택 입주물량이 크게 늘어날 전망입니다.

국토교통부에 따르면 다음달 서귀포시 강정 택지지구에 5백 세대 규모의 아파트를 시작으로 5월까지 세 달 동안 공동주택 1천 1백여 세대가 공급됩니다.

이는 지난해 같은 기간에 공급된 370세대와 비교해 세 배 이상 늘어난 수치입니다.

제주도는 지난해 인허가 받은 공동주택들이 연초에 공사가 완료되면서 물량이 크게 늘어났다고 설명했습니다.
