Continuing support for small schools
Province, education office boost funding by 10%

The provincial government and office of education will continue their efforts to improve education at small schools this year.

The island’s smallest educational institutions will be getting ten percent more for operational expenses.

Six of the schools will also be equipped with video conferencing technology that allows them to receive English instruction from other parts of the country and the world.

Finally, the small schools will be given priority when assigning new administrative staff and science lab assistants.

제주도교육청과 제주도가 올해도 작은 학교 희망만들기 사업을 계속 추진합니다.

이를 위해 우선 학교 운영비를 지난해보다 10% 증액해 지원합니다.

또 국내,외 연계 화상 영어교육을 위해 6군데 학교에 시설을 설치합니다.

이 밖에도 교무행정실무원의 배치와 과학실험보조교사 등을 우선 지원합니다.
