Jeju Forum begins May 31
Former US VP Al Gore to attend

The 12th Jeju Forum for Peace and Prosperity begins May 31st at the International Convention Center.

The provincial government, the International Peace Foundation, and the East Asia Foundation are among the official hosts of the three-day forum. Organizers expect some 5,000 dignitaries, CEOs, journalists, and experts in foreign affairs from over 70 countries to attend.

Former Vice President of the United States and Nobel laureate Al Gore will give the keynote during the World Leaders Session.

That will be one of the around 70 sessions at the forum, the theme of which is “Sharing a Common Vision for Asia’s Future.”

제주포럼 5월 31일…엘고어 전 美부통령 참석

제12회 평화와 번영을 위한 제주포럼이 5월 31일부터 사흘동안 제주국제컨벤션센터에서 열립니다.

제주특별자치도와 국제평화재단, 동아시아재단 등이 공동으로 주최하는 이번 포럼에는 국내외 정상급 인사와 경영인, 외교전문가 등 70여 개국에서 5천명이 참가합니다.

특히 이번 포럼에는 노벨 평화상을 수상한 엘 고어 전 미국 부통령이 참석해
세계지도자 세션에서 기조연설을 합니다.

제주도는 올해 포럼의 주제를 아시아의 미래비전 공유로 정하고 70여개의 세션을 진행하기로 했습니다.
