Tour packages for Chinese medical tourists
JTO, province host dozens of doctors, outdoor enthusiasts from China

Local authorities are working on developing tour packages for Chinese medical tourists.

The provincial government and the Jeju Tourism Organization on Sunday held a meeting for between health and other professionals in Korea and China. About 70 people, including traditional medicine doctors and mountain experts from China, attended the gathering at the Maison Glad Hotel.

Participants then got the chance to hike Hallasan Mountain on Monday and enjoy what the island has to offer from a natural perspective. Organizers say the Chinese visitors will help promote medical tourism to the island upon their return to China.

제주도와 제주관광공사는 오늘(26일) 오후 메종글래드 호텔에서 중국 한의사와 산악 전문가 등 70여 명을 초청해 한·중 민간 건강 교류회를 열었습니다.

특히 이번에 초청된 중국인들은 내일(27일) 한라산 등반을 통해 제주의 자연 관광을 체험한 뒤 중국으로 돌아가 의료 상품에 대한 홍보 역할을 하게 됩니다.
