Apartment prices level off
Long-term ‘jeonse’ lease prices also hold steady

Apartment prices in Jeju have leveled off over the past month or so.

The Korea Appraisal Board says the apartment price index as of February 20th was 121.7. It hasn’t budged for five weeks, since January 30th. Prices for long-term “jeonse” leases have stabilized, as well.

Board representatives say there are two main reasons for the stall in apartment price growth. Prices have gone up considerably in recent years and new regulations make it more difficult for prospective buyers to get loans.

아파트 매매가격 상승세가 주춤해지고 있습니다.

아파트 전세가격도 5주 연속 유지되고 있습니다.

한국감정원은 아파트 가격 상승과 대출심사 강화 등으로 관망세가 이어지며 보합세를 보이는 것으로 분석하고 있습니다.
