Chinese woman arrested for unlawful employment
Seogwipo Coast Guard says she also violated visa waiver rules

Seogwipo Coast Guard officers have arrested a 33-year-old Chinese woman for coming to Jeju as part of its visa waiver program, but then illegally leaving the island for the mainland in order to get work.

Coast guard officials say the woman arrived in Jeju in November 2015. They allege she only stayed here one day, before moving to Seongju-gun, Gyeongbuk where she was illegally hired at a massage parlor.

무단이탈해 불법취업 중국인 여성 구속

서귀포해양경비안전서는 무사증으로 제주에 들어와 다른 지역으로 무단이탈해 불법취업한 혐의로 중국인 여성 33살 이 모씨를 구속했습니다.

해경에 따르면 이 여인은 지난 2015년 11월 무사증로 제주에 들어온 뒤 하루 만에 경북 성주군으로 무단이탈해 마사지업소에 불법취업했습니다.
