Seongsan Sunrise Peak now open 7 AM to 8 PM
Longer hours through end of September

Visitors now have more time to enjoy Seongsan Sunrise Peak.

The Jeju World Natural Heritage Center is keeping the site open from seven in the morning until eight at night from this month through the end of September. It had been open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., so visitors now get two extra hours in both the morning and the evening.

The center says that by giving tourists more time to see more things, more people will come, which will lead to higher revenue through admission fees.

성산일출봉, 아침 7시~저녁 8시까지 관람

성산일출봉의 관람시간이 연장됩니다.

제주도 세계유산본부는 이달부터 오는 9월까지 성산일출봉의 관람시간을 아침 7시부터 저녁 8시까지로 연장합니다.

이는 조례상 나와있는 아침 9시부터 저녁 6시까지 보다 각각 2시간씩을 늘린 겁니다.

세계유산본부는 관람시간 연장을 통해 관광객들이 추가적인 볼거리를 감상할 수 있고 이로 인한 입장료 수입도 늘어날 것으로 기대하고 있습니다.
