114,000 Chinese tourists have canceled Jeju travel plans
Reaction to Korea’s decision to deploy THAAD anti-missile system

Chinese tourists continue to cancel their trips to the island.

According to the province, four tourist agencies made another 1,300 cancellations on Tuesday alone. That pushes the running total to 114,000.

One of the companies stopped offering its Jeju Cherry Blossom Festival package.

Baozen has also tentatively halted an incentive tour for its employees, which was scheduled for mid-April.

중국 관광객의 예약 취소사태가 계속해서 이어지고 있습니다.

제주특별자치도에 따르면 어제하루만 접수된 중국 관광객의 예약 취소사례는
4개 여행사에서 1천 300여명에 이르고 있습니다.

이에 따라 지금까지 누적된 예약취소인원은 11만 4천을 넘어섰습니다.

특히 중국의 모 여행사는 제주왕벚꽃축제 여행상품 판매를 중단하기도 했습니다.

또 다음달 중순 예정됐던 바오젠 인센티브단 제주 방문 역시 잠정 중단 조치됐습니다
