Authorities declared bird flu outbreak over on Wednesday

Local authorities lifted a ban on chicken and duck from the Gangwon region of the mainland on Friday.

The province lifted the ban after authorities in Gangwon declared on Wednesday that the bird flu outbreak there was over.

Importers here on the island must, however, submit a form to the Jeju Veterinary Service Laboratory by 6 p.m. the day before any shipments.

내일(10일)부터 강원지역 닭고기와 오리고기 반입이 허용됩니다.

제주도는 어제(8일)자로 강원지역의 AI가 종식되면서 이동제한이 해제됨에 따라
내일(10일)부터 강원지역산 닭고기와 오리고기 반입을 허용한다고 밝혔습니다.

가금산물 반입을 위해서는 신고서를 작성해서 반입 전날 오후 6시까지 제주도 동물위생시험소에 제출해야 합니다.
