First renovations at Jeju National Museum in 16 years
Moving through the exhibit, visitors are greeted with the site of the Jeju people of old.
The Jeju National Museum recently got a facelift, 16 years after first opening.

We completely rearranged the exhibits that depict Jeju’s history and culture from the birth of the volcanic island to the present.

The museum has 2,200 newly-selected historical exhibits ready to display.

Exhibits in 6 categories
The whole exhibition is divided into six categories, including the paleolithic, neolithic, Tamna Kingdom, and Goryeo Dynasty, and show the lives of the inhabitants of Jeju Island at those times.
The museum also provides visual materials for visitors to better understand the displays.

Time-lapse video effectively shows the history of Jeju: from the birth of the volcanic island to the present.
