Jeju Cherry Blossom Festival begins March 31

The 26th Jeju Cherry Blossom Festival begins March 31st at a number of locations.

Visitors can enjoy flowers through April ninth in Jangjeon-ri, Aewol-eup, along Jeonnong-ro in Jeju City, and at Jeju National University.

There will be an opening ceremony in Jangjeon-ri on the first day. Festival-goers can take in a number of performances and play traditional games there through April second.

The Jeju Seosara Culture Festival is scheduled for April first and second. It will be held along Jeonnong-ro, where the cherry blossoms will be in full bloom.

The city is setting up lights along Jeonnong-ro and in Jangjeon-ri so people can enjoy the flowers at night, as well.

제26회 왕벚꽃축제 31일 개막

제26회 제주왕벚꽃축제가 오는 31일부터 다음달 9일까지 10일 동안 애월읍 장전리와 제주시 전농로, 제주대 입구에서 열립니다.

행사 개막일인 오는 31일에는 애월읍 장전리 왕벚꽃 명소에서 개막행사가 함께
다음달 2일까지 사흘동안 각종 공연과 전통놀이 등이 펼쳐집니다.

이어 다음달 1일과 2일에는 제주시 전농로에서 왕벚꽃길 전체를 축제장으로 활용한
서사라 문화의거리 축제가 진행됩니다.

제주시는 전농로와 장전리 왕벚꽃거리에 경관조명을 설치해 야간에도 왕벚꽃을 감상할 수 있도록 할 계획입니다.
