Textbooks about April Third Incident, peace, and human rights
Books published by ed. office being used in local classrooms

The Provincial Office of Education has published two textbooks on the April Third Incident, peace, and human rights.

The books are the result of one year of work by the April Third Peace Education Committee advisory panel.

One of the texts is for elementary students in grades five and six, the other is for all pupils in middle school.

The office has sent the books to island schools for classes on the topics between March 20th to April 8th, which was designated as a period for for special April Third Incident education.

道교육청, 4.3평화 인권교육 교재 발간

제주도교육청이 4.3평화 인권교육을 위한 교재를 발간했습니다.

이번에 발간된 교재는 지난 1년동안 4.3평화교육위원회 자문 과정을 거쳐 집필된 것으로 초등용과 중등용 교재로 나눠졌습니다.

교재는 초등학생 5. 6학년 학생들에게 개인별로 배부됐고 중등교재는 학급 수에 따라 배부됐습니다.

교육청은 오늘(20일)부터 다음달 8일까지를 4.3평화 인권교육 주간으로 정해 관련 교육을 진행합니다.
